Following requests from NHS authorities who are concerned about the monitoring of flow to endoscope reprocessors, we have designed and developed a unique validation system and data logger that can be periodically used to prove that any AER is functioning correctly. It can also be used to measure and validate the time taken and flow required to remove bio burden from an individual channel. ‘T.E.S.T.chec’ incorporates a windows software package specially written to provide traceable validation of hospital sterilizers and washer disinfectors. It includes a hospital machine database, individual channel fluid flow measurement, leak test pressure measurement, thermocouple and cycle stage contact time measurement. A real time chart display showing all of the listed measurements is available and can be printed out at the end of the machine cycle with all results stored in tamper proof encrypted files. An annual report and comparison chart can then be produced assisting in machine performance analysis and service requirements.

‘T.E.S.T.chec’ can be used in all makes of Automated Endoscope Reprocessor with compatibility to all known disinfection and sterilizing agents.
